Salvation you have a right to know the truth

Some twenty years ago. While visiting, a church in Cardiff. One of the Church deacons gave me a bible tract that caught my attention it carried the rather bold title Salvation you have a right to know the truth by J R Willhoite. This tract was some what more than a call to get converted or born-again or what ever is the fashionable phrase Christians might wish to call full bible salvation. But this tract discussed the three divisions of the New Testament. The deacon noticed that the tract had interested me and He explained that the whole idea of the tract was to challenge the reader to openly consider their view and interpretation of the New Testament and their personal plan of salvation. Over the years I have found this tract to be a positive asset when teaching on the plain of Salvation to Bible Students

Gospel.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John

In The Gospel we learn:

1 Ministry of John the Baptist

2 The birth of Jesus

3 The Life of Jesus

4 The Ministry of Jesus

5 The Call of His disciples

6 His Miracles

7 His death, burial, resurrection.

We do not find:

The Christian Church was not founded in the gospels Matt 16:18

No one received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. John 7:38-39

People could repent and have their sins forgiven. In The gospels

Example:

A. The Thief on the cross  Luke 23:43

B. The man with palsy Mark 2:5

However full salvation or conversion was not possible until after Jesus was crucified and ascended

Luke 22:32, Acts 1:4-8

Warning:

Full salvation was experienced on the day of Pentecost

CHURCHES FOUNDED

Epistles

Romans to Revelation

We Learn how to live the Christian life

What do we find in the Epistles

These letters were written to the churches after they were baptised in the name of Jesus Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking with tongues

Why were the Epistles written

To instruct Born-again Christians

1 How to live

2 How to worship

3 Church discipline

4 How to develop the fruits of the Holy spirit

Gal 5: 22-23

What do we not find in the Epistles

1 Not one person was baptised in all the Epistles

2 Not one person received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in all the epistles

The Reason

They had already been baptised and received the baptism of the Holy ghost otherwise these churches could not have been founded.

Warning

Eph 2:8, I Cor 12:30, I john 5:1, Eph 5:26

These scriptures are found in the epistles and written to churches already born-again. They were never intended to be used as substitutes for the plan of salvation.

Are you ready for the Rapture?

I Thess 4:13-17.  I John 14:13.
